If you love an addict or alcoholic, I can’t encourage you enough to seek help for yourself.
Doing so makes a powerful statement to the alcoholic or addict in your life. But that’s not why you do it. You do it for you. Most of us who are involved with an addict have no idea how deeply their behavior is affecting us and coloring our outlook on life. Finding a community of people who are struggling with similar issues is a life-changing experience that can only benefit everyone involved.
Here are some resources from around the web, followed by a list of posts from Sober Boots that you might find helpful. Keep in mind, this list is not exhaustive or complete yet. I hope to add it over time. Let me know if you come across any great resources or blogs that I should consider including here.
